Olivia Kiernan

Olivia Kiernan is an Irish writer who grew up in County Meath near the town of Kells. After school, she completed a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology then a BSc in Chiropractice in Wales, eventually settling and working in Oxfordshire, seeing all manner of musculoskeletal complaints, for a decade. But writing was always in the background and in 2010, she succumbed to the creative itch when she embarked on an MA in Creative Writing; writing around work and late at night to complete the course. Emerging from this period, she learned that she could finish a novel but it took three more books before she finally got a publishing deal. Now, she gets to write full-time where she’s frequently interrupted by her two dogs when it’s time for food or walks.
